Tasks

The project team gives advice to the national and federal conservation authorities regarding all questions that concern the wolf in the wild. Our tasks range from the evaluation of particular hints of wolf presence to giving guidance on actions to be taken when a wolf shows untypical behaviour. In the framework of the project, all monitoring and management data from the federal states are collected and prepared for presentation to the public on this website.

Within the scope of the project, there is no first-hand counselling of the public e.g. through presentations or advice by phone. Please contact the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation’s public relations department when you have questions regarding contents of this website.
